Kansas Fiber Network Upgrades to 100G at 1102 Grand

KANSAS CITY, MO (May 29, 2013) – 1102 Grand, Kansas City’s carrier hotel, announces
that customer Kansas Fiber Network (KsFiberNet), a consortium of 29 carriers across the state of Kansas, has upgraded its network capacity at 1102 Grand to 100G DWDM.

The high capacity network upgrade comes in response to an increase in demand from
carrier and business customers in the rural Kansas market who require high bandwidth
services. KsFiberNet offers private line (TDM and Ethernet), dedicated Internet access,
wireless backhaul and long distance over its state-of-the-art, high capacity network.

“Upgrading to 100G at 1102 Grand allows us to better serve our customers throughout
rural Kansas and the Kansas City metro area,” states Steven Dorf, KsFiberNet President.
